I was worried the French terry would be too thin for fall, but this 8.3-ounce fabric has real substance to it. The double layer hood keeps its shape perfectly without flopping around, and the dyed-to-match drawcords are a classy touch that makes it look way more expensive than it is.
The fabric feels like a cozy medium-weight blanket, and the dyed-to-match drawcords are a nice touch—no random neon strings clashing with the charcoal color. I've worn it almost every weekend since it arrived.
The double-layer hood is the standout detail for me—it keeps its shape and actually blocks the wind better than most hoodies I've owned. The organic cotton feels broken-in from day one, soft against the skin without any of that stiff, cardboard feel new clothes sometimes have.
